Surfsnappers is a group of friends from London who like to travel around the city and explore abandoned undergrounds. Charing Cross was one of their favourite locations to hang out where they spent a great deal of time freestyle skateboarding and often won trophies competing against their competitors. One day whilst in the underground they came across a hidden laboratory. Well as you can imagine, they were all so intrigued to explore this secret laboratory to where they discovered a machine called “Metagateway” which has the ability to transport them into the metaverse. There they embark on a journey with endless possibilities and limitless power!
An NFT, or non-fungible token, is a unique, identifiable digital asset stored on the blockchain. An NFT could be a piece of digital artwork, a collectible, or even a digital representation of a real-life physical asset. Ownership of an NFT is easily and uniquely verifiable due to its public listing on the blockchain.
Minting refers to the process of tokenizing a digital file, or a digital piece of art, and publishing it on the blockchain. Once an NFT is minted, you can verify ownership and buy, sell, and trade the NFT.

Once the NFT has been claimed (or “minted”), you will be able to see your NFT on the Surfsnappers.io website, on OpenSea, or on other Ethereum-based NFT marketplaces. You can simply connect your digital wallet to the marketplace, which “signs you in,” and then browse the NFT(s) in your wallet through the marketplace's interface.
